Camp Fort Greene is a place for kids to learn about the world around them through play, community, and summer fun!

After a day of active indoor and outdoor explorations, our campers positively glow with excitement and the joy of making fresh discoveries. Young people learn so much about science, art, and music in our program – but, mostly, they learn about themselves. Camp Fort Greene is committed to giving each child a hands-in-the-soil, play-based summer. Here at Camp Fort Greene, our campers go home sweaty, dirty, and radiantly happy.

AFTER CAMP CARE

For the Summer 2017 season, we are happy to announce we will be collaborating with Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots organization! Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots is the Jane Goodall Institute’s (JGI) global youth-led community action program, comprised of thousands of young people inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall to make the world a better place. In our Shoots & Roots club, campers and staff will map the community to identify local needs, prioritize our findings and implement a service campaign of our choice to make a difference for the issues we are most passionate about.

AFTER CAMP - $25/Day

Campers enjoy large group activities, organized arts & crafts, free play, and of course daily work on our Shoots & Roots Campaign. Sign up for as many or as few days as you need, long-term participation is not necessary to enjoy being a part of our Roots & Shoots Club. You will be able to add individual days on to your weekly registration form.
