Adrian Jagdees, Assistant Director of Operations
Adrian Jagdees earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Queens College and a Master of Science Degree in Special Education from Brooklyn College. He began his career in education as an academic tutor supporting elementary-aged children in a daycare setting. A former paraprofessional in the New York City public schools, Adrian is a proud alumnus of the New York City Teaching Fellows Program and is currently a certified special education teacher in a public elementary school.
Adrian began his career at Camp Fort Greene as a Senior Counselor and worked in that capacity for three years before ascending to his current role as Assistant Director of Operations. While Adrian brings his expertise in classroom management, IEP development and implementation, and child-centered learning strategies to his role at Camp Fort Greene, he is primarily tasked with efficiency in daily camp operations. A former assistant manager in charge of operations at Macy’s Department Store, Adrian is a specialist in curricular support, inventory control, and enhanced family experience.
While Adrian is adept at managing daily camp functions, he gracefully pivots from operations to apply his expertise as a skilled educator as needed. Adrian centers each camper in his leadership role, as he believes his primary task is to give young people opportunities for social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
